Hello guys, I am a chemistry graduate willing to get into PhD collegesarrow-10x10.png in US. I almost got into a good ranked PhD biology but got denied (even after the recruitment invite!!). Now the rest of the colleges I applied are in bioengineering. So I think chances of getting in those are slim.
My work permit expires next jan. So, I need to get into a college by Jan. Has any one got any idea on what I could do? Any clues on easily accepting Universities during spring? I guess , Masters could be an option but is dat possible financially? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

There are many chem programs that admit students for Spring semester. I believe financial support is only available for PhD and not Masters track at most places.

You can look at this list:

http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-science-schools/chemistry-rankings

The last time I looked, the top 30 only offers Fall admission (but if you find a program that you really like, it doesn't hurt to call the admission coordinator to see what they can do for you).

Hope that helps!
