bellaflor77 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 A school tells me that they cannot accept me for a program but tells me to consider to apply to other programs or degrees. I think I need to talk to the admission representative and ask him what program do they recommend since I would like to go to that school. What do you think?
Huntsman Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I think that you definitely should. They are obviously considering you and want you to attend. So if you can find a program that works for you, and that they think is a better fit, then it sounds like a win-win. I'm not sure if this is what you meant by "admission representative" but I would make sure to talk to the admissions representative in the program that did not accept you, as they would have the best idea of where you are likely to find a good fit and get accepted.
