klaulett Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I'm currently on the waitlist for two of my top schools. Will accepting an offer from another program disqualify me from the waitlists? I want to see if I'll be admitted to either of those programs, but I don't want to be left without any options if I don't get in off the waitlist. Any thoughts? I know that law schools will take you off the waitlist if you accept any other offer, but do masters programs have the same rules? Thanks!
TheGirlWhoLived Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I don't think the masters programs have any way of knowing if you accept somewhere else unless you tell them.. I would wait as long as you can to accept if you want to wait for other offers. I don't think it is good form to accept an offer and then change your mind. Especially after April 15th.
