namwkim
Hello, I got accepted to both Harvard CS and CMU HCI(within CS). Research interests fit well in both schools. According to the U.S News computer science ranking, Harvard ranked in #18 while CMU ranked in #1. Likewise, CMU have more broad research areas, more faculty and a larger program. Harvard generally has a higher reputation than CMU. Boston seems to be better than living in Pittsburgh. Still not sure where to go? Do you have any thoughts? many thanks,
DeleteMePlease
Seriously? Go to CMU. It is like you say one of the four #1 schools. If you plan to stay in North America people -- especially from your field -- will know CMU. If you plan to work in Europe or Asia then maybe Harvard is worth considering. Icydubloon
CMU. If you want to go to Boston, go on the weekends. It's not that far.
