columbiaapp Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Hi! I applied to the MPA program at SIPA and the MPP at Georgetown, I work at finance, have 5 years of experience, international applicant. I heard that the MPA program is too big and students tend to feel lost, however, Columbia´s name is a huge factor. In the MPP side I understand that Georgetown received a big grant and its program could be in a few years one of the best ones. I appreciate a lot your help! Thanks!
Admissions Advice Online Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 What is your actual question? Also, what do you want to do post degree? Also, I worked in investment banking at JP Morgan for a few years and there were quite a few SIPA grads there. So at least another pro for Columbia would be the versatility of the degree. -Admissions Advice Online
