Thereallv702 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Hi Guys! So I was admitted to Harvard Graduate School of Education for the human development psychology masters program and Teachers College Columbia University for the clinical psychology general track masters program. I was wondering if any of you had any advice on how to choose which program to attend? I ultimately want to go on and get my PhD in either clinical or social psychology so any and all advice about which program will help me obtain that goal would be awesome! Thanks!
Thereallv702 Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Yes, they're both equal. It really is a matter of the program since the funding is exactly the same.
Guest joshw4288 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 You might try to narrow down your interest to either social or clinical. Both of these appear to be more specialized programs than a general M.A. Psychology that would allow you broad focus when applying later. I am not sure that a masters in clinical would be very beneficial in terms of Ph.D. applications if you decide to go social later...
