Cornell ORIE Vs Gatech ISYE

Hello,

I have been admitted to the PhD program in Operations Research at Cornell and Gatech.

I am interested in Optimization, Applied probability and Statistics and Financial Engineering.

Which School do you think is better?

GT is consistently ranked #1 in ISYE, they have the best optimization professors and courseload. Also a lot of the graduate students are included in many industrial consulting projects, esp. with Atlanta hospitals, Georgia factories, etc. Most grads end up working for top consulting firms, esp Deloitte

The weather is better in Georgia than New York, too.
