I had a couple of offers, but I've decided to accept the offer from umich. The funding is great. I think the program is well regarded. Everyone there was incredibly nice. The faculty members had actually read my essay (and wanted to discuss it with me). The weather sucks, but who picks a grad program for the weather?

Poor linguistics people from grad apps past! I wonder if happy is happy at UMich? Did linguisticsguy ever find out where else happy was offered? Did Guest ever get funding anywhere? Someday soon, this'll be us. Well, hopefully, since none of them seem to be around a year later.
