I will be joining UMD come this fall. I am from India and am joining the Computer Science PhD program

Not going to UMD but went there as an undergrad. Most grad students look into graduate gardens in adelphi. Some students also rent from the Varsity (pricey) on route one as well. Check out our student paper's classified section for more housing.
