OffToTheRaces Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 This is a fairly straight forward question and I just want to double check my understanding. I got into to two strong MA programs in my field. School A is offering assistantship/funding and school B isn't. If I accept the offer from school a BEFORE April 15 and school B offers funding after that, would I be able to accept the offer from school B? My understanding of the policy is that offers accepted AFTER April 15 are legally binding.
readallthethings Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I'm pretty sure that you can still back out of an offer so long as it's still before the 15th, although I do think you'd still need to email the first school and ask them to "release" you so that you can accept the other school's potential offer.
OffToTheRaces Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 So if school B offers money after April 15, I wouldn't be able to accept if I accepted at school A before April 15?
