Facebook Group??

How are you guys making Facebook groups?? I've tried several times but I get an error message saying I have to add people (invite my friends) in order to create a group. I got this message regardless of the privacy status of the group - whether it's closed or open.

Hey I think a group has to have at least one member other than yourself. So you can either find/add someone from your class at your future school on Facebook, on your friends list, and then invite them, or you can just use one of your current friends as a placeholder (with their permission), just to get the group going.

What I did was add my husband (haha) and then as soon as the group was created, I deleted him.  It worked out great.

I did that too! Added my best friend and told her to ignore the invite, then opened the group and removed her!

I'm wondering about this too. I've never made one before, but I tried my hand at making one for UGA. It's just lonely old me in there for the past few days, so I'm wondering if I did something wrong.  Or, maybe nobody has decided to go to UGA yet.  Could somebody else take a look to see if mine works?

It definitely works!  Did you try posting the link on the results page?  I feel like some people look there more than on the forums...

Well that's good.  I posted it there on Sunday but I think it may have been drowned out by other notifications. I may wait until closer to April 15 when more people have decided where they're going.  Aside from that, it looks like I might be in a cohort of 1
