spokeydoke27 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Has anyone heard back about Oxford's Clarendon funding, especially from the humanities division?
ssimonin Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Humanities student here! When I was accepted, they told me I was on the reserve list for the Clarendon. Haven't heard anything since then.
ssimonin Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Clarendon website says: "The majority of successful candidates have now been sent an offer letter by email."
Alterman Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 They did change their status... Does anybody know what it means though? Did they just not finish sending out notifications, or do they have some sort of unofficial waiting list and they're waiting for some people to decline so that they can offer those scholarships to other students?

The latter, I think. The waiting list must be the 'reserve list' they mentioned over email. I've decided not to wait, and to take up a funded place at another university. Congratulations to the recipients, and good luck to others on the reserve list!
