Is anyone still receiving responses? I've been wait listed at UCSB, and have received no response yet. I'm wondering if there are people out there who are still waiting on schools to get back to them.

Did you check your online application status? Sometimes a decision was rendered there but you might not be notified. That just happened to me.

Yup. Still waiting for a response to a waitlist. There were some promising noises over the weekend, but still no final decision.

Speaking as someone who got in off the list at several places... I haven't made up my mind, yet, and I'm sure a lot of others haven't since we've only had a few days. There's still hope! (And sorry, btw, I'm having an awful time deciding and generally being an impediment to others' happiness.)

Haha, Between Fields. Way to make a happy thing self-deprecating. Congratulations! You've earned this particular wait time. 

And Grendel's Mother: I agree. Some promising noises, indeed, but nothing definitive. Now I'm stuck over-analyzing the emails I've gotten from the DGS. "Our recruiting has been exceptional, and we need a little time to see exactly where things stand and if it is possible to accommodate another admit." So what does that mean for *me* haha?
