celph
Hello, Which are some good classics departments in private universities, outside the Ivy league, that offer funding to international students for an MA degree? I'm looking for something good but not prestigious to serve as my "safety school". Thanks in advance.

celph
Hey, thank you very much. They do guarantee funding for the MA! It's just what I wanted, a plan B. Thanks again.
Inez
Kansas, Kentucky, Washington University and the University of Georgia (among others) also have great terminal MA programs and offer funded positions. If you go to the Classical Journal website, there is a whole list of both terminal MA and PhD programs and also a survey they've filled out about their program that might help you pick a department suited to your interests. celph
I appreciate the gesture; I'm glad that I now have a few alternatives.
Cardea
University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign does as well. They also have an MAT. I think Tulane is funded too.
