Does anybody know what the typical timeline looks like in the months ahead?

 

- When do we usually pick classes?

- get assigned an advisor

- sign paperwork etc.

 

I haven't received a great deal of information from my school yet.

The first two have already happened for me, and I'm supposed to sign my contract in July.

I just got my "official-official" admission letter on Monday and sent in my official transcript. No idea when I sign anything else or what happens next. Will probably email someone within the department sometime next week after my transcript has made it.

Best bet is to email the department because practices differ. I know that all of that stuff was done early on for me in April, whereas I knew others who didn't receive any news from their department (didn't pick classes, didn't sign any paperwork) until August.
