braves2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I technically haven't taken a computer science class yet, but I took this class last year that used statistical methods in Stata extensively. The professor also liked me (I was one of the few students who showed up to most of the classes...lol). I ended up getting an A- in the class. Would it be appropriate to go to this teacher for a LOR for IE as my "professor" rec?
starofdawn Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I'm not knowledgeable about IE admissions, but sure! Why not? This professor can speak to your ability as a responsible and intelligent student. And if I'm not mistaken, IE is economics heavy, so statistical methods class would be relevant (as opposed to a history class or a biology class).
