I got into both schools, and am trying to decide which one to attend next fall. UIC is much cheaper (46,000 for two years vs. 90,000), while obviously NWU is a very prestigious school.

I'm looking to specialize in either tissue engineering or biomechanics. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

These two universities are not comparable academically. If you have the money you go to NW if not UIC, as simple as that! Off course you knew it already! :)

Hey! Even i got an admit from Northwestern University and I am planning to attend it. But i don't think the tuition fees is 90,000 at Northwestern. Its only 45, 000 if you finish your courses in three quarters and then you dont need to pay tuition during research (i.e from 4 to 8 quarter).
