Does anyone know of good graduate programs for forensic psychology? Im interested in either just getting a PhD in forensic psychology or joint JD/PhD in clinical, but have only seen a few schools listed on the psychology and law website and have no idea if these are good schools or if there are others out there. please help

Its not my specialty so I don't know any specifics, but several psychology professors at the University of Arizona have mentioned that our Psychology, Policy, and Law track in the psychology department is particularly strong. Its certainly worth a look, as the department, university, and Tucson are all quite nice!

Have you looked at the U of Alabama. They have a clinical program with a subfield of psychology and law. Are you just looking for clinical? Or are you interested in social ?

A good source is the American-Psychology Law and Society website. They have tons of info about schools and other student related stuff. As for Clinical Psychology schools with emphasis on Forensic Psychology/ Law programs, you may want to check out:

Simon Fraser University - they're pretty well known for their Psyc and Law Program

University of Arizona (joint Psych and Law)

University of Nebraska-Lincoln

University of Alabama- Tuscaloosa (Clinical Child/Adult with emphasis on Law)

Texas A&M

Drexel University

Good luck!
