Has any of you  used LetterBanc or know someone who used it? I want to learn if this approach is sufficient to meet the requirements of most grad schools (like waiving rights to view or so), because I don't want to bother the writers again and again...

I know Berkeley and most UC schools accept that.

If you're willing to pay 2-3 dollars per e-mail (more if you have to send it via mail)...

I personally think it's expensive--I wouldn't pay more than a postage stamp and an envelope to send out LORs. I'd just compile a list of schools you want to apply to and give them to your writers so you only have to "bother" them once.

I found out my school (a UC) offers this kind of service through their career center. However, I found nearly all of my applications require online recommendation forms, and only take physical letters in rare occasions. I feel bad for making my LOR writers slog through seven "rate the applicant along a scale of 5" forms.
