amethyst23 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I'm going to start reviewing for the biochem subject GRE soon and I was wondering which textbook anyone would recommend for the genetics material. I'll be using Voet & Voet and Alberts for biochemistry and molecular bio respectively.
Britt32011 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I will be using Griffith for genetics. Does anyone on here know whether essential bio by alberts (the shorter/condensed version) has most of the necesary info or is it worth the extra time to read all of the relevent chapters in the full book? I was thinking of focussing on the essential books and then going over a couple of the chapters from the larger book based on what topics seem to come up more often on the practice exams. Any thoughts on this plan?
