zjbhg Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Hello friends! These days I am facing an important decision in front of me. I studied Farsi for one year back in 2010 and right now I am working as an expatriate between Iran and China. Totally I have spent more than two years in Iran. This year I applied for two master programs, one is Iranian studies in Tehran University and another is Middle East studies in Tel Aviv University. Based on my experience in Iran, it will be easy for me to stay in Tehran and find some opportunities. However I am a bit tired of Iran and would like to have new experience. If I go to Israel, I am willing to work for several years around Palestine territories. Moreover, I can practice Arabic during my stay in Israel. What do you think? Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Do you think any organization will have interest on a Chinese who has relevant language skills and experience? Thank you very much!
TMP Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 This is not the right forum to post such question. You should really ask the folks at TAU and check out the Israeli labor laws for foreigners. But I cannot promise you that you will have an easy time with the Israeli security at the border control when they see the Iranian stamps in your passport.

I agree, I have to be prepared for many enquiries.
