PeterQuince Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hello everyone, I just signed up to attend an information session on Monday for an MBA program. This will be the first information session or camps visit I've attended. I signed up after the Admissions Office closed for the day, too late to call with the following question: What is appropriate attire for a summer information session? Suit and tie? Sport coat and slacks without tie? Business casual (sport shirt and slacks)? It's alternated between hot and rainy. Thanks for any guidance - I don't work in finance or a traditional suit-and-tie industry so I thought I would reach out for suggestions.
Kaneisha Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I suggest you go with business casual with a tucked in shirt—unless you're located in DC, which is so formal that I'd say you'd be safer with the options that include a blazer. And...now I see that my answer is far too late for your actual event. I hope it went well!
