ITHokie
Greetings all, I am going to start taking graduate classes at VT next semester in what I hope ultimately amounts to a degree seeking graduate program (Masters Info Tech). The first class looks pretty difficult: It centers around Boolean logic, number systems, data representation and formats, hardware building blocks, processor architectures, memory and storage subsystems, input/output systems, and operating system functions. Any thoughts on possible summer reading to prepare for this course? I am thinking of just buying the text book early if not... Thanks! I should also mention that my experience in information technology at this point is strictly as a project manager for software projects.
