philothei Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Does anyone know anything about the combination program at Princeton? Or overall does an MDiv/MSW prepare you for humanitarian work more than just one or the other? I'm interesting in doing a dual degree but can't decide.
Dreams Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Does anyone know anything about the combination program at Princeton? I was not aware of this unless it is offered in conjunction with another university. In general both will prepare you for Humanitarian work. Though the MSW will give you much more flexibility, and access to some positions that a divinity degree would not qualify you for. I don't see the point of doing them both unless you want to go into ministry too. If so then a dual degree may be a good bet. Would you give the link to the dual MDiv/MSW please?
michigan girl Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I was surprised too. The MSW is probably through Rutgers.
