Reggie205 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 So i took the gre's last january 2014 and got a 143 on Verbal and 149 on quant. why are some schools saying they are requiring a minimum combined score of 900? and a minimum of 400 for each section??? (for example,East Carolina U) did they change the score scale? Thanks for the help
Vene Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 That's the old scale. This gives a conversion between the two. So, you got a 360 Verbal and a 610-620 on Quantitative for a combined score of 970-980. themmases 1
Crucial BBQ Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Yes, as Vene suggests these websites have not been updated in quite a while. ETS went with the new grading scale back in August of 2011.
