Kirsten J Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Hello, Is anyone applying to European master's programs? I am interested in going to Europe for grad school to study organizational/work psychology, but my school has absolutely no resources on doing your masters abroad. I am finding it difficult to narrow down accredited and recognized universities (preferably ones that are top ranked), English speaking schools, and schools that offer my particular program. Any information would be helpful from anyone who is planning on applying to European grad schools or has studied abroad in the past. Thanks!
BuzzinAround Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Sorry, I don't have an answer, but I'm also wondering about this because I know there are some researchers at the University of Bergen I would love to work with. However, I'm having the same issues as you (i.e. no info on language of instruction, financial resources), which is making me a bit frustrated and less likely to apply to these programs. Any advice out there?
jalison Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Hey! I am also applying to grad schools in Europe. It is my understanding that a lot of schools will list the language of instruction along with their program - if you read the information about the program it generally says something about the language of instruction. Another super helpful tool is the "study in ______" websites. Most European countries (and possibly all countries - I just havent looked at any outside of Europe) have a website that is basically a database of all their programs. One example is http://www.studyfinder.nl which lists all the programs in Holland and you can choose language of instruction in the criteria. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, etc. (the countries I have been looking into) also have these websites!
