mdheadley12 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I'm just trying to find out if someone has gotten into a biochemistry graduate program without a chemistry or biology undergraduate major. What steps did they take to prepare themselves for the graduate program? What was the experience like?
Quantum Buckyball Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I know someone with a history undergrad degree and did a 2-year MA in biology and got in the biochem program here
MaudDib Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) I know someone with a bachelor's in psychology and a minor in biochemistry who is almost finished with a biochemistry PhD. Edited October 13, 2014 by MaudDib

Cookie Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 If you dont have a bachelor's degree in physical sciences, as long as you accumulate enough credits in Chemistry curriculum & have some research experience (during your postbacc), you can get accepted to Chemistry PhD programs. Many older students I know have done it.
