Difference between SOP for Masters and PhD

Hi guys,

 

so i am applying to both masters and phd and I would like some help differentiating the two

 

how similar or different are the two essays?

 

For example, I know that I should talk about my research interest in phd sop but not in masters sop. Can the general structure and context for both be similar except in one part?

 

Can any of you guys give me a simple answer indicating the key differences that I should be aware of?
