lotf629
I'm going to guess not. If you're out there, though, I'd love to hear from you...since there are like fifteen of us in the specialty.
magelette
Anglo-Saxonist in terms of Arthurian, but leaning more toward any up-to-Malory Arthurian. I do prefer Old to Middle English, and love the utter despair of the poetry and the lack of comitatus. (God, I can't spell tonight.) Where you headed? Juno
hey! I'm sort of a would-be Anglo-Saxonist ... I've just finished my undergrad and I'm taking a year or two out as an organist/choir director(!) while figuring out where to specialise. It'll be medieval or Renaissance but I can't decide which there are so many things to love about Old English poetry, and I have a hard time expressing exactly what that quality is that I love the most. I have some tough decisions ahead ...
lotf629
Hey! Good to hear some responses! I'm working on Old English lyric form, which is my favorite thing in the world at the moment. I love the mood of the poetry, too, especially the shorter poems.
