Anglo-Saxonist in terms of Arthurian, but leaning more toward any up-to-Malory Arthurian. I do prefer Old to Middle English, and love the utter despair of the poetry and the lack of comitatus. (God, I can't spell tonight.) Where you headed?
I got my acceptance email on the first, and the official letter about a week ago. Full funding, stipend. Now I just have to move everything from California to upstate NY. My in-laws are thrilled, since they're not too far from Binghamton. It sounds like I may be the only medievalist they're taking this year, but I don't know, as I've only spoken with my adviser and the associate grad director.
Well, if you get an email from donotreply@asu.edu, and the subject is "ASU Rejection Letter", congratulations! You too are off the waitlist!
I guess there's always next year. Third time's a charm?
So, 'in review' might not necessarily mean on the wait list on the website, it might mean there's a decision, they just haven't actually updated the website status yet?
I'm having deja vu to last year, when I was in the exact same position.
Whoo!
My Lit application is still in review. Since there haven't been any new notifications since before spring break (last week), I think they're still going through the pile.
