Thanks in advance for any advice!  :)

In my SOP, I describe my most relevant research experience briefly. However, the research I describe is the research that's in my writing sample. So I don't want to blab on for a really long time in my SOP when all the info is in my writing sample, but I also doubt that everyone on the admissions committee is going to read my writing sample, so I don't want them to be confused by lack of information in my SOP. Is there a happy medium? Should I refer to my writing sample or something?? Or maybe I shouldn't discuss my research in detail there, but rather what I gained from the experience and how it's shaped my research interests??
