Anybody here have any familiarity with M.A. programs combining History and Public History into one? South Carolina has one, I believe. I was curious as to the benefits of doing such a thing, the options you'd be afforded after completion, etc.

UNC-Charlotte has both history and public history. I am a traditional history student, but I have taken public history electives. The departments work closely together, and if you ask I'm pretty sure they would let you blend courses. Especially if you already have some research topics in mind.
