nini312 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I just got off the waitlist! Going to the Master's Program in Organizational Behavior (Psychology Department). I am in SF right now and would love to know how to get started within a month for housing, etc. Anyone else going? Tips? Recommendations?
kahlan_amnell Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I just graduated from CGU and am moving out of the area shortley, but I think I can help a bit. In terms of housing, avoid the CGU housing, it is overpriced and has a lot of problems. I'd suggest Brighton Park Apartments, which is where I've lived for the two years I've been at CGU. It's a great complex, well maintained, and the rent isn't that bad. (If you do decide to look into living there, contact me by PM and I can give you more info. Also, I do admit that if you say I referred you I get money off of my rent.) If you can't afford to live in Claremont, look into the nearby towns, but be sure to check out the neighborhood first, because there are some bad ones nearby. I wasn't in the same program you're going into, so I can't comment on that. Anything else I can help with about CGU and Claremont, feel free to ask.
