Vanderbilt Peabody Ed.D. K-12 Leadership

I am applying to the Peabody Ed.D. program and am concerned about my GRE scores. 

 

153 Verbal

155 Quantitative

5.5 writing

 

Their site says 303-305 minimum and the average of recent cohorts was a 306.  I am just barely above that.  Should I go with that and hope that the strength of the rest of the application is enough or should I retake it?

 

Also, the site says 12/31 is the deadline but encourages applications by 12/1.  Does anyone know why?

 

I couldn't find anyone on here who had been accepted and what their scores were.
