The prompt for SDSU states to describe your capacity with diverse populations & tell what motivated you to choose the field of social work. 

 

 

In order to describe my capacity, I feel like I must explain different experiences I've had with different populations and describe what I did to help each person & what I learned from that experience.. is this a good way of doing it??

 

The prompt doesn't really state they would like to know about my background or anything

I think that's exactly what they want you to do. As long as you can tie those three things (what you did, with who, and what you learned) together you'll be fine!
