jshyam22 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Hi Brief profile: GPA: 3.48, Masters in electrical engineering at a top school (minor: OR) GRE: Q: 170 V: 162 AWA: 4.0 TOEFL: 120 on 120 (international grad) Current occupation: analyst at a leading investment bank (reason to study further: love for applied math, I feel that more graduate work would help in this line of work in finance) Applications: MIT ORC (MS) Princeton ORFE (MSE) Columbia OR/FE (MS) Cornell ORIE (M. Eng with specialization in FE) Berkeley OR (M.Eng) Am I being too ambitious with the above choices? What are the odds of my making it to the above? Any other good programs that you think I should consider? Thanks in advance! Cheers
serarca Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Have you done any research? Any published, or at least submitted work? I think GPA and GRE scores, however good, will only get you through the first filter.
