mona90 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) how to answer an interview question: What are your weaknesses? Edited December 10, 2014 by mona90
eragon Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Tell about a weakness and explain how are trying to improve it now.
Chianti Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I was taught by a friend that hired for a major hospital to never say something is a weakness. Give questions that have a "negative" answer a positive spin by showing that you are aware of the "weakness"/working to improve it OR list a strength that can be viewed as a "weakness" (which is what I did).
kaswing Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 For me, honestly, I tend to let fear prevent me from starting large projects. Obviously, super bad for graduate school. So, before I started applying, I started confronting this issue. Now, I have concrete, intentional examples of overcoming these weaknesses that I can talk about in interviews, namely losing (by then) 30 pounds and teaching myself HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I chose these because 1) I wanted to do them and 2) they are relatable (in the first case) and relevant (in the second case).
