bruinviking Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 My ugrad GPA is 3.1 (Computer Science at UCLA). I want to apply for grad school in math. What are my chances of getting into the following UC schools? UC Riverside UC Irvine UC San Diego UC Santa Barbara
PETRAL6 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I really doubt there is anyway someone can give you a good answer to that. It's such a hit or miss process with so many variables. Any internships, research, honors classes, GRE scores are?, letters of rec, personal statement, interest matches, etc etc etc
History_Nerd Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 A lot of people on this board noted that they didn't get into their "safety school" but were accepted at their top choice. It is very hard to say. If I were you, I would ask advisors and maybe frame the question to faculty at potential grad schools like, "Do you think I may be a good fit for your program?"
