Skype interview for a PhD program

hello all

I have applied for a phd program in several universities in US

today I received an email for a skype interview with the admission committee members of one of those univ.

Does anyone have some tips for such kind of interviews ? What are the most frequent questions ? What they are looking for in the interview? etc

Skim through old posts in this forum and you'll find some answers. The basics is this: make sure your audio and video work (do a test beforehand), make sure you're somewhere quiet, make sure what they see in the background is appropriate (so no crazy posters behind you), dress nicely (makes you talk better and more professionally), and be prepared to discuss your research interests and how those intersect with the professor you're speaking with.
