mhny1224 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I was wondering if anyone knows what the Midwestern interview is like-- it says it's approximately 6 hours so I know there are informal parts, but any advice would be great!!
oliviarae91 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 There are two 10 minute interviews. One is clinical and the other is personal. They want to know that you can think like a clinician. The other is going to be more "Miss America" questions. Then the rest of the time is touring the campus and clinic, and they take you to lunch with the other applicants.
mhny1224 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Thank you!!! If you can elaborate on what "Miss America" questions means that would be great. I really appreciate your response!
oliviarae91 Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 mostly sociopolitical questions that require critical thinking
arthritiskid Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I'm a MWU SLP student and am helping out with some of the lunches/interviews! Looking forward to it! Good luck!
LaChanteuse Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Does anyone know when Midwestern stops inviting people to interviews? I'm freaking out a little since I haven't heard back yet hehe.
slplivin Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 To those already accepted...how long after your interview did they wait to call you? Or did you see it on your portal first?
slplivin Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Nevermind I answered my own question....I interviewed on 2/9 and just looked at my portal and found out I was accepted!!!
