Interviewing outside my major

I am a CS and Russian major interviewing for a sociology phd program at my current institution. I have taken intro. Sociology courses and used sociological theories to write many papers. However, I am concerned that the questions will be. about high level concepts that I may not have exposure to.

What can I do to minimize that issue?

I can't speak to Sociology, but it seems like in Psychology, the questions haven't been asked in a way to stump the interviewee. You could always try to refresh your sociology knowledge by looking at a sociology textbook. (In the sociology forum, does it seem like that's generally what people have asked about during interviews?)  Focus on your strengths. If they're interviewing you, they must have found something interesting about your application, knowing your undergrad is not in sociology.

They're not going to be quizzing you on your knowledge of sociological theories in the interview. The interview is to learn more about your research interests, your background, and for you to learn about the faculty and the program. Brush up on what you want to do research on and why, and be prepared to discuss how the program will help you do that research.
