JimmyLLang Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 In the results search some of them have a red diamond with gpa/gre stats. However, the ones that have it are basically saying undergrad gpa. Why is that? Is that accurate, or am I missing something, or am I just coming at this from the religion background? It does not seem to matter what the ug gpa is that much for people that have a masters, or two, or three before getting into phd. So is it accurate that what I see is ug gpa, and not grad gpa? I see a few that post their master gpa in the comments, but very few. I just wish I could see more is all.
marXian Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 The vast majority of people applying in the sciences are applying straight from undergrad. The reverse is true in our discipline (and increasingly more humanities disciplines.) But GradCafe hasn't felt the need to add the ability to post a M* GPA if relevant. Honestly, I wouldn't put too much stock in those self-reported stats. Aubstopper and .letmeinplz// 2
