StatsG0d Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 A professor from one of the programs I was admitted to requested to speak on the phone with me to "learn more about [me] and and answer any questions" that I might have about the program. In order to prepare, I was simply wondering (1) what might be good things to bring up about myself; and (2) what are some crucial questions to ask about the program? Speaking with some colleagues/professors, they seem to mention that it's a good idea to ask the program's attrition rate, its placement history, and the proportion of students finishing on time. Any thoughts?
eeee1923 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Also ask the average time that students take to complete the degree, how many years of funding are students guaranteed, is a TAship required. Things along those lines in addition to the above points.
