The Dreamer Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Got the official letter today. Wait listed for PhD Social Justice. Did your ROSI change? Or does it still say no registration history?
The Dreamer Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 waitlisted phd in adult education Did your ROSI change? Or does it still say no registration history?
howlx Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Did your ROSI change? Or does it still say no registration history? It just says under review.
wednesday13 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Did your ROSI change? Or does it still say no registration history? Yup, mine too. Any idea how many are on the wait list? I'm accepted else where but I'm curious to see what happens...
hazelnut.latte Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 I was told the ROSI and SGS won't change until you actually register. But it's not a big deal. As long as you got an official letter you are fine.
The Dreamer Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Thank you so much hazelnut.latte. I was wondering why no one from this department could say that ROSI or SGS changed.
SJEhopeful Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I am unofficially waitlisted for SJE PHD and have been told unofficially that I would be offered a spot in the ED D programme without funding. Still have my fingers crossed. Anyone in a similar position received any official correspondence yet? Has anyone been taken off the waitlist? Is anyone thinking of going with another offer? I honestly might if it takes too long.

regular Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Have either of you received a formal letter about your wait list status? Yes, I have received a formal letter last week, though I wasn't offered a spot in the EdD. I talked to the Chair Abigail Bakan at one of the events that was hosted by SJE. She said that 'quite a few people on th wait list" were offered a spot last year.
gen1023 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Has anyone heard anything from the Curriculum Studies & Teacher Development program? I've been accepted to SJE MEd (second choice) but there's still no news on CSTD and they can't give any rough estimates on when they'll get responses.
The Dreamer Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 What is taking the mailing system so long? I feel like I am going to burst into a million little pieces. This wait is too long! It's now mid-April. Sigh
The Dreamer Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 So I decided to call the school today was given the unofficial rejection. Guess I have to keep on dreaming. Glad I finally know....
joanjy Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hi, everyone. I am wailisted to a phd program in CTL at OISE. Received a scanned version of letter that notifies the wailist status, because the official mail was lost during the delivery (international applicant). Btw, the letter says, "very rarely, non-standard admission must be approved prior to an offer of admission." Can anybody shed some light on what this implies by 'non-standard admission?'
hazelnut.latte Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 anyone on the waitlist got any news?
Victor Chou Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Does anyone know how competitive it is for the MT program at OISE this year for teachable subjects in Math and Physics ?
hh24 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 has anyone heard of any news back from the Master of teaching program for 2017 fall?
