Frankfurtschool Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Hi all, I finally got my first accpetance at UCR for phd in sociology fall 2015. I received the distinguished dean's fellowship for 4+years. It includes a stipend and ta/grad research opportunity. I understand this, but the letter does not include whether tuition is covered/free. Does that mean I pay tuition? Or does the fellowship in general cover this and I go for free ? Please clarify! Thank you.
pvfm Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Students receiving graduate assistantships are usually eligible for a tuition waiver. However, this may not be true for every university. You'd better ask the department pvfm 1
