UNC Chapel Hill MSW applicants

Well...  I started out as being very patient about getting the decision but now I'm checking my email like a crazy person!!!  I really hope to get the decision this week.  UNC's the only school I applied to because of the opportunity to simultaneously pursue my Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS).  Really hope to get in but I feel pretty good about my chances.  Good luck to everyone (and their patience)!!

The wait is killing me too! I have been accepted to three other schools as well and it is hard to focus on any decisions until I hear from UNC (top choice). If you are still waiting, I feel your pain!

Thanks riyadiya.  NYU is a terrific option to have!  I used to live off of Washington Square Park and the area is pretty incredible.  Get some pizza at John's in the Village!

Anyone know if UNC will be working/sending out decisions over Spring break next week? Their website says they try to make decisions for the advanced standing program by March 15th.

I received information about practicum placements yesterday and the e-mail encouraged students to begin with the process. Is anyone on the board accepting without knowing about funding first? I am directing this more towards out-of-state students.

Has anyone heard back from financial aid? I would really like to know if I am moving to NC in less than two months...

I haven't heard a peep. I tried calling yesterday but couldn't get anyone on the phone. I'm feeling pressure from other schools for an answer and I too would like to know where I will be living in a month.
