Ardea Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 I've never been a big fan of rankings, since they're pretty useless for selecting graduate programs. A student looking to do Bronze Age archaeology would be best served at Cincinnati, for example, which otherwise has a good but not great program. That said, I don't think anyone would dispute that Berkeley, Brown, Michigan, UT Austin, UCLA, and UNC are pretty solidly in the top 10 and are strong in most areas.
