ashrj Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I recently got a rejection from CMU RI for the MS program. I have been accepted at another pretty good program already, so I am not too worried. However, I am planning on doing a PhD immediately after my MS, and CMU would of course be one of the choices for that. Therefore, given that, does it make sense to ask them for specific rejection reasons? If yes, should I mention the stuff I have mentioned in this post (like acceptance at another program + desire to do PhD within next 2-3 years)
