Simmons decisions - confused by emails

Hey guys! I was expecting my Simmons decision by mail last week and didn't hear anything. I'm out of town this entire week  so I might have something in the mail when I return home next monday but I got an email from them inviting me to an accepted students day... is it safe to say that I was accepted? haha i'm a bit confused but did anyone else get emails like that from Simmons with no official acceptance yet?

I got my letter last Thursday saying I was accepted and then I received an email Saturday saying a decision had been made and expect to get the letter within 5-7 business days. I got that same accepted students email yesterday lol. The emails seem out of whack. I would call and see maybe? Don't want to assume you're accepted but I'd say the email is a good sign

I also got the email without an official acceptance letter. I got an email saying that they sent my decision though. Waiting for it but it is stressful.

I will just say that the accepted students reception is for accepted students... Have either of you heard bacn officially?

Actually I sent an email asking about that and got a reply from director of admission with a electronic copy of my acceptance letter. Can I ask you why Simmons was your top choice?

just came home to my acceptance letter! is anyone attending the accepted students reception? also, anyone out of state?
