rachel_z Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Congratulations to those who have received ad/offers! However I still receive no notification in any form. Are there anyone in the same situation? Or anyone knows about whether there are further round of notification? Thanks a lot! Since I found that most people got their email ahead both from SIPA and Georgetown, I'm a bit panicked about what's going on on the other side. Thanks and wish us all good luck
ir_gradstudent Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Nobody has gotten Georgetown SFS news yet. SIPA released their news on Monday, so you should check your spam box and email them to ask. Don't wait longer.
rachel_z Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 That's what I thought was so confusing. Thanks . I'll email them to check. And by Georgetown I mean MPP program. Will there be any more rounds of notification?
buckHD Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 @ rachel_z: I get the sense that Georgetown McCourt's notification process is semi-rolling given that the January 15th cutoff was only a priority deadline and applications are still being accepted until April. In my opinion, you shouldn't be discouraged about your chances just because you haven't heard yet. Decisions started coming out February 2nd, and I didn't get my letter until March 4th. Hang in there, I know the waiting is excruciating.
user727 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Still waiting to hear back from them too. I applied to the MIDP program.

Though I have the exchange courses listed in my home transcript. And I'm applying for MPP not MSFS, so I cannot promise any words about the latter program. Fingers crossed for all still. It's always so fragile waiting for a result.
dudeinspace Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Hi!! I wrote to McCourt and they uploaded my admissions letter. No info on funding but still its good to know. I applied to the MIDP.

Thanks for the tip! Did you have to wait very long to access the admissions letter? How long did it take them to respond? Congrats on your acceptance!
dudeinspace Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 @user727 Thank you! I wrote to them yesterday night... they replied today around 11 am. Good luck!!
user727 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Hi! I was able to access my admissions letter at 11AM March 16 (DC time) on the website. I received the official email notification 6 hours after, at around 5PM March 16 (DC time). No info on funding, so I'm eager to hear back from them about that soon. Good luck!
